              Mosaic Des Moines

Mosaic provides a life of possibilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Mosaic helps people define their own happiness supporting and empowering the pursuit of their goals. They celebrate successes, even if that success is as simple as the pursuit itself.

Mosaic is a consolidated service organization made up to two legacy agencies, Bethphage and Martin Luther Homes. Mosaic has been providing services to adults with disabilities in the Des Moines area since 1983. It was in 1983 that Bethphage opened three homes serving 24 people. In 1994, Martin Luther Homes opened 9 homes to serve 36 people. In July of 2003, the two legacy agencies came together to form one premier organization, Mosaic.

The Mosaic Des Moines program now serves more than 180 adults in more than 40 locations and employs 300 staff members. People served by Mosaic receive benefits in a variety of ways including 24-hour residential living, intermittent supports and employment opportunities.
